Orlando Learning Summit History

The 2022 Orlando Learning Summit is the 3rd of its kind. The first two were held in 2017 and 2018.

“In 2017 and 2018 we were breaking ground with these events,” says Evelyn McCulloch, who helped launch the first two Orlando Learning Summit events as Director of Teaching and Learning at Park Maitland School prior to joining i-Tech as Director of Educational Technology. “There hadn’t been an opportunity like this before to share and celebrate each other’s ideas at a regional level.”

For various reasons, including the COVID-19 pandemic, the Orlando Learning Summit was not held from 2019 through 2021. i-Tech and The First Academy are pleased to bring it back this year.

“We’ve all just lived through some challenging years, and I think the community is ready to embrace the fun aspect of this event,” says McCulloch.
